Gold Buffalo History
Gold Buffalos have been produced by the United States Mint since 2006 after the passing of the American Buffalo Coin Act. The Gold Buffalo coin obverse, or "heads" side, design was originally used on James Earle Fraser's Indian Head Nickel in 1913. Since this made the coin very popular with collectors, it has been used as a symbol for American currency ever since its initial release. The Gold Buffalo coin reverse, or "tails" side, features an American buffalo. The buffalo depicted is believed to be based on Black Diamond who lived at New York City's Central Park Zoo in the early 20th century.

- Item Promotion Period: The Item Promotion starts at 12:00 a.m. Eastern Time ("ET") on 6/1/2024 and ends at 11:59 p.m. ET on 9/1/2024.
- Entry Methods: There are two entry methods for this Item Promotion:
a. Paid entry:
- A purchase of $49.99 USD grants one entry bundle consisting of three hundred (500) entries in the Item Promotion.
- A purchase of $89.98 USD grants two entry bundles consisting of one thousand entries plus a bonus of five hundred entries (1000 + 500 bonus), totaling fifteen hundred (1,500) entries.
- A purchase of $119.97 USD grants three entry bundles consisting of fifteen hundred entries plus a bonus of two thousand entries (1,500 + 2,000 bonus), totaling thirty five hundred (3,500) entries.
